Using a root trainer

20140408-143144.jpgThe Carrots I sowed the other week have shown no sign of life. It was too early, and the weather suddenly turned wet again.

This time, I am being a little more careful, and planting them in their own root trainers to get them going.

Root trainers will force the root of the seed to go straight down, ultimately giving a nice straight carrot, with few nodules that.
