The Carrots I sowed the other week have shown no sign of life. It was too early, and the weather suddenly turned wet again.
This time, I am being a little more careful, and planting them in their own root trainers to get them going.
Root trainers will force the root of the seed to go straight down, ultimately giving a nice straight carrot, with few nodules that.
I fine sifted some multipurpose compost and filled the root trainers. Carefully, I pressed a seed into the top of each trainer, and covered with a light sprinkling of sifted compost to finish it off.
